Two countries one shop.

Welcome to bySanz.

Hi, my name is Liss, after 4 years I visited my sister in El Salvador, I knew her work as an Artist. She makes amazing fabric dyes, with a Japanese technique called Shibori. After this visit, I really started to appreciate the hard work she puts in it.

All the process is handmade, she makes the tint, from a natural Indigo obtained from a plant called Añil. She sews, ties and folds the fabric to get these amazing patterns. Every piece is one of a kind, as the whole process is handmade you can’t find two fabrics alike.

I love unique things. So, we decided to work together and open a shop. I design the items and together we come up with the best patterns to fit the item.

We live in different countries, but we’re closer now that we’re in this project together. I am very happy and proud of that.
